NO!!
Okay... *deep breath* I should worry about studying now instead of some Heroes episode. XDD I've been waiting though all week, and now... who knows how long it will be before the series continues..?? Loooong wait... Oh well... studying.... It was kind of funny that I woke up early morning probably about the same time the ep finished airing in the US, and was totally unable to sleep, no matter what. That had to mean something!! XDD Ooh....After ages of tossing and turning I decided to get up, since it was really no use to just to lie in bed all worried. XDD
First things first: OMG NOO!!! Seriously, I hate being right. About both. Though I had some hope for the latter, that was shattered when the surveillance cameras caught the whole "press conference" part. I realised that Nathan was so going to be shot as he's about to reveal what he can do. Yeah... so it was definitely no surprise, but shocking anyway, because: DARN IT, THAT WAS SO STUPID! Besides the fact to get viewers to tune in when the series continues after ages to see if he's alive. Oh, and also the part that the way that both Niki and Nathan went down was too clichéd and was easy to see coming. But anyway: HE BETTER NOT BE DEAD!!! I mean if Matt survived being shot multiple times in the chest, HRG survived being shot in the head, Sylar survived being impaled with a sword... (Then again D.L. didn't fare well against ONE bullet...). Nathan came back after carrying nuclear bomb into the sky and being close to the explosion. He has relatives with super blood, and Peter has like a million (let me exaggerate in peace) powers he could use after Nathan was shot (though, he's unable to think straight after such a shock).
The news said "shot" not "killed", so hope??? With how the event was portrayed, and with Nathan giving brotherly advice to Peter about realising that not everyone is good, and how he mustn't let the guilt get to him, which seemed like final words, it seemed definite. Still...maybe there's... hope? GAAAH
And darn it, who shot Nathan? Whoever it is, I so hate him/her even if Nathan survives, but even more so if he doesn't. And if he doesn't, I'll hate HRG just for coming back from being shot in the head, because it's just not fair that he survives and Nathan doesn't. Especially since he survives to turn to the evil again. Oh yay.
And speaking of evil... Angela... what? She was pretty okay with having BOTH her sons shot? Okay, it was definitely tearing her inside, but still... That's evil. How come the spawn of Satan are so good???
On to something LESS depressing:
Nathan and Peter were reunited. Yay! Even if it was short... and Matt had to interrupt their moment for the deadly press conference of doom.
XDDDD at Hiro appearing after Nathan and Matt landed and of course at the mutual agreement not to talk about the piggyback flying (how come nobody spotted them? XDD). So, I guess this means that Hiro doesn't consider Nathan a "billian", because.. ? a) He's figured it out? b) Doesn't care/remember, since New York was saved anyway? c) Nathan must be good, since he's obviously there to stop Adam? I wished to have seen the interaction after that... like Hiro maybe acknowledging that fact that Nathan and Peter are brothers (even if he's realised ages ago anyway), and maybe some catching up after the bomb etc.... but okay...
Matt's reaction to seeing Hiro was priceless as well. XDD
Random nitpick: I can understand that Hiro is quick to reach Adam, but Nathan is a slower runner than Matt? (and Peter can't phase through the door, so that Adam can be alone with virus XDD) But yeah, I know it's to give the whole "Peter only listens to Nathan" effect after everyone else fails. I really liked how it looked like "You're my brother, I love you" makes Peter snap out of his trance... seconds later he's off to stop Adam. XDD
Hiro was awesome! XDD Way to get rid of Adam! Even if he's obviously going to emerge from the grave. It's amazing how both Peter and Hiro have toughened up... Peter zapping people, determined and badass; Hiro burying someone alive...
But thank goodness they didn't hurt each other (or even seem like they wanted to)... they could have talked a little longer, but I guess Hiro realised that Peter was a lost cause... Otherwise their "fight" was surprisingly cool, and Hiro even seemed to have the upper hand. ;) (besides the scary choking part...)
I really didn't think I'd ever say this, but I really liked Elle. I used to really dislike her, but that's completely changed. I loved her reaction when she realised that she'd saved Mohinder, Maya and Molly (Ms XDD) from Sylar. Maybe she can be redeemed.
Niki was awesome! Even without super strength she's actually physically (and mentally) kick ass! I really liked her character, she was my favourite female character even, but I was too prepared for her to go. Really. Poor Micah... and darn it for having a strong woman be killed off!
Meh... and I didn't get to see her and Nathan interact more... this suuuuucksss...
At least Niki really showed what a true hero she was.
Oh gosh, that Sylar just won't die... But that's a cockroach for you. At least he's interesting and has interesting UST with Mohinder. XDDD
Also: the significance of pictures! Interesting how both Maya and Peter, naive characters, being stringed along by someone evil, finally come to realise (thanks to their brothers) that they've been duped.
The apron Maya was wearing: "World's greatest Dad" Awww.... I wonder whose idea it was and who bought it? XDD
The brains gave me another Harry Potter vibe. The character killing as well.
What evilness is "Pandora's box" referring to??
I'm SO NOT okay with how this ended and gaaaaaah.....even if it was very similar to how the previous finale ended. Though to be positive: it seems like the virus was destroyed (big thanks to Nathan again XDD)? Hmm.. so what happened to Caitlin?
If Nathan is dead, I'll prob. still continue watching...and hope that it will just self-destruct to pay for killing off one of the most awesome characters, but I'm SO not buying the DVDs.
Anyway. A million tests coming up. Need to study. I'm actually feeling tired now... and really hungry. Although I ate breakfast!
