Oh my goodness. Feels like my head will explode again. At least my stomach is a little better+ I'd like to actually move after getting rid of this stupid test (make-up test in a month). Obviously I knew nothing, but I couldn't leave an empty paper, so I made up my own answers. My Dad commended me on it (okay not exactly), saying that he past a test

Which subject are you studying?
...I'm behind in Shounen Club as well... T_T

Psychology. XD Was a little harder than I thought.
I wouldn't say I'm behind. XD I've watched the recent ones, but I haven't watched a great bunch of the older eps. XD (I just kind of selected what I watch XD)

Too many episodes. When I looked back, I couldn't believe how I was able to collect most of them.

Um.. the book we had was the Science of Personality by L.A. Pervin. (maybe you know it) and the topic were three research traditions (clinical, correlational, experimental), trait units of personality, cognitive units of personality, motivational units of personality, the unconscious, the concept of self, behavior, emotion, personality assessment.
Most of them?? Wow.. I'm not even CLOSE to that. And prob. can't even try. ;) Focusing on the newer ones.. I guess. ;)

Ahh, I've learned about the clinical, correlational, and experimental research. They're kinda self-explanatory. The trait units of personality sounds familiar... The concept of self... Like self-concept, self-perception, and other self terms? Have you learned about the id, ego, and superego? Hm... Not sure if I've learned about personality assessment before.
Yep. I enjoyed watching the show thaaaaat much. Used to. Now, I want to watch a bunch of other shows.

Yeah.. the research methods aren't that hard.. they were only the introduction actually, and weren't even asked in the test.
id, ego and superego were mentioned, but apparently they had to be known already. XD I don't know what they are...
Personality assessment is easy though.. just a way for employers (or people) to determine suitable employees(or people XD).
Wow.. but it can't have been that long ago. XD There are too many shows...

Id is the unconscious, superego is the conscious, and ego is...in between. Ego is when you can recall something in your unconscious, like you remember what happened when you're little.
Your class seems to be focused more on the personality. Hm.. *tries to recall what I learned* Can't remember.. Tell me what you're learning ^.^ I think I know more about the behaviors than the personalities.
Yea... I think it's sometime at the beginning of this year...

*laughs* I pretty much only know the subjects I mentioned.. I actually haven't studied much..

Trait units of personality: Neuroticism, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, and Openness <--Are these in the textbook?
Don't think I've learned about the cognitive and motivational personalities so I can't describe them. Maybe if I look them up..
Self-concept is basically the answers to the question, "Who am I?"
Hm... Behavioral psychology sounds easier than personality..

No, no.. don't you go and look up anything for me! XD It's my test to think about anyway...
Thanks for putting that so simply, again. :D
I think personality sounds more interesting though. XD (everything is hard XD)

*looks at my old "textbook"*
Oh yeah, OCEAN. Openness, conscientiousness (organized, hardworking, dependable), extroversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism (anxious, insecure).
Motivation:
Does your textbook have "metamotives" and "deficiency motives"? Or "achievement motivation," "intrinsic motivation," and "extrinsic motivation"?
Cognitive Social-Learning Theory: focuses on social learning (modeling), acquired cognitive factors (expectancies, values), and the person-situation interaction (Not sure if you're learning this one ^.^")

XDD.. Don't know... it's kind of difficult, since you're not physically here. :(
Yup!! *nods* I actually go that part as well. ;) (The personality acronyms aren't that bad..)
Eh! I forgot about that already! *checks*
It does mention intrinsic (I guess extrinsic is more related to rewards/stimulation outside the task/interest XD)motivation, but is mainly focused on the drive theory and goals . (but achievement, should def. be related to that)
That was mentioned! XDDD Thanks for putting it like that though!I find it difficult to understand anything to do with cognition!! :D

I'll try ^.^
You're probably done with this course already (are you?) so I don't need to describe anything XD
No problem ^.^
