We're in the final!

Both finals! XDD
But yeah, it's pretty great to be in the final in the ice hockey world championships especially against Sweden. ;) I've been keeping track of what's going on, but haven't been following as much as I normally would (my issues), but I did have to see the semi against Russia. :D (And SO root for facing Sweden. :D) The first goal was a spectacular masterpiece. :)

Anyway.. one country won't need to fret the Eurovision disappointment too much. Not that I know what will happen, but I'm feeling a little negative about tonight. In general I've been having a hard time getting into anything. I honestly don't want to whine too much... Just explain. I've been going through some serious problems, and I don't know when I'll be able to... start functioning again properly. I haven't been outside in weeks(more than a few minutes, because I’ve had no other choice)... I missed all my last lessons and test. I have a chance next week as well.. but I fear that I'll curl up into a ball and cry again. On the bright side: I finished my thesis(didn't need to go to school for that) and managed to send it 1 minute before the deadline. Actually I needed more time, but I ran into some technical problems as well as the mental ones that hindered the completion.

Also: the anticlimactic BuLi is over. I’m SOOO happy for Mainz achieving their best result EVER and even making it to the Europa League. Good job!! (Especially considering how many much bigger clubs they left behind and how they, yet again, were considered favourites to be relegated. Oh, and Hannover too, while not as small as Mainz, but since they were almost relegated last year, coming in freaking 4th place after that must feel good)
At least Bayern has the chance to qualify for the CL, so the season wasn’t THAT bad. I’m looking forward to the next season!! :D
It’s also kind of cool that now since Hyypiä is retiring, he’ll be coaching at Leverkusen… and working with the national team :) He’s had a pretty amazing career club-wise and has been a very integral part of our humble national team and I wish him all the best. :)

Anyway... the Eurovision tonight! My enjoyment greatly affected by my own issues and the presence of last year’s stuck-up winner. The performance order is really annoying as well.. My top faves are right after each other... a string of calm songs at the beginning, followed by a string of upbeat ones... It's just SO uneven. And no matter what people want to tell themselves, performance order DOES matter. A clear winner will win regardless of order, but it could have an important effect on songs that aren't overwhelmingly popular/unpopular with the viewing audience (and jury?). The ones that stick out either on their own or amongst others (IMO) will have a better chance, but yeah, we'll see. :) I'll root for my faves and Finland, possibly other good ones and for Germany to be rock bottom. Sadly, I don't think I'll be pleased with the results, so I'll try to just enjoy the performances and show, like I always do regardless of the result.

EDIT: just got a message from the teacher that he accepted my thesis, and while he thought it had its definite weaknesses, he liked my own thoughts on it, so my mark won't be as crappy as he originally intended it to be. (I don't think he was too bothered by the good 50 seconds to spare but definitely by the tons of mistakes... yay. It's not only the fact that my German is pretty weak, but also the fact that I can't type properly and always run out of time... so I can't proofread it more than once. *sighs* Yeah.. I as a person am a whole package of weaknesses)

life sucks, i suck, bundesliga, sports, eurovision, complaining, school
