Ugh… I think I’m feeling better now, but after more than a week being sick.. which followed right after 1,5 weeks being sick (so that would be two and a half weeks sick after subtracting the 2 days I was healthy), I’m feeling just a little wary. I’ll be trying to make an effort to actually eat healthily, but I don’t know when I could start

*nods* I actually choose my team(s) that way as well.. Munich=place my parents met (and got engaged). Mainz=first place in Germany (at that time still West Germany) that I visited(not that I remember). But well… Bayern was kind of the first team that I felt for..(during a time the internet wasn’t what it is today.. so it was through some recap on the radio.. or something.. can’t remember... and it was also tied to my desire to visit Munich. :)).. so what came first stays number one. *stubborn*
I don't follow the Finnish league all that much (I'd actually like to go to a few matches... but I DO need someone with me. XDD), but I'd be for my hometown club. I usually have some sort of a more "stable" reason to root for a team... Spurs is an exception. I actually watched them play first. XDD
You mean disliked in Munich (and around)??? Yeah... Bayern just currently happens to have the most home grown players out of any other BuLi team. XDD But yeah, I agree that Bayern does have a tendency of buying the top players from other clubs (thus "weakening their opponents".. or so the popular belief), and they def. are bigger and in a better position than the rest, so I understand that it can create a bit of resentment.
Still.. it's most jealousy. :) (Again, understandable)
XDD I know. :) I def. wish for the BuLi to grow stronger(or the other teams.. so they can seriously challenge Bayern, which in turn would be good for Bayern as well). :) Although.. to tell the truth, the league IS pretty even... somehow Bayern just manages to win at the end. XDD Of course it might have something to do with the fact that they're only team that declares every season that that they're aiming to win.. No other teams do that... not every year at least. XDD Currently, even Dortmund refuses to talk about that..
(On one hand I understand it.. but on the other hand it seems like only Bayern is trying to win every year no matter where they are in the table, so...)
I'm too much of a realist to believe in that. :) But I'd be so psyched about the Top 5... or little Mainz just somewhere there among all the big teams. :)
Anyway: Come on, Mainz! :)
Seriously, people give you crap for watching football?? Or just watching Liverpool?
Anyway... how about Liverpool beating freaking Chelsea??? XDD
Thanks for keeping the EPL interesting! :)

I figure most of the time it’s some kind of connection like you said, when you have some kind of memory attached to a place and then transferred to the team or because they are your home team or something like that…or just something really irrational. I guess the whole idea of how you come to support the team you support is something you can’t really pinpoint.
Jup, Munich and all around. Then again there are a lot of people in Munich who only moved here, so they would have grown up with other teams and thus rather support them. And well, Bavaria is not really the most popular place in this country either, so some people probably have kind of a general resentment. Bayern also have a huge amount of really vocal fans and that puts people off, too. Oh well, I don’t care what other people think, I like them and that’s what really counts after all :)
True, it’s a pretty even league, which is a good thing, makes it more interesting. I think Bayern kind of have to declare that they aim to win. It’s pretty much expected from them. The press would have a field day if they were being a bit more reluctant about their goals. They’d all be looking for what the mysterious problem would be xD
Yeah, it’s little digs here and there. I mean I get it, they don’t really mean it, they are just teasing, but it gets really annoying sometimes. It’s both, too, football in general and Liverpool. I don’t know what the problem is, but whatever.
Haha, you are most certainly welcome for that xD But omg, the second half was crazy scary! I was really looking at the clock every five seconds because I was scared Chelsea would decide to score after all! But they didn’t so yay Liverpool! :D
