HAhahaha. I love... my cats. And fish, and Paulette. And other ppl and things. I want to LEARN... learn about... geology... and Mayan Civilizations... and why there is never any mention of the gimongeous comet that killed the dinosaurs ...starting continental drift. In like... ALL my textbooks. its strange.
APPARENTLY... that massive comet landed somewhere around teh Yucatan Penninsula. And the position of the continents do seem to have drifted from a central location such as that. So again it makes sense... even though the fault lines dont reaaaally show a pattern of breakage from that point. perhaps over the millions of years they've altered enough to not show it. ummmm I dont know how fault lines really work, well I do... but usually there is some sort of impact pattern shown when an object crashes into another. such as a rock into glass... but perhaps... since the crust is rather bendable... to some extent... it gave way... I DONT KNOW. but its mystifying. and I like it.
going to some sort of Mayan Civilization ... presentation thing in July. All about their calendar and 2012... teh supposed end of the world according to their super-accurate calendar which ours is based on today. Maybe they just got tired of making a calendar so they ended it there. I don't really know, thats why I'm going. To find out.
TRAVELLING oh jeez. I was watching ... some spanish show on the ... TV Chile... channel. and there was one little clip where they show this super traditional method of cooking this awesome meal, 'curanto'. I'm talking grinding down the potatoes on rough rocks, throwin bulk shellfish onto hot coals along with a pan of chicken and other delighful looking things... then covering it with huge leaves and smothering that with like... sod or something. And it looked super tasty. Chile seemed so divided! One minute you're seeing this traditional cooking method from some rural country scene, then the next you're back on this flashy game or talk show. I want to see and experience that tradition, the rich culture. Maria says that the South of Chile is so much different than from Santiago. The attitude of people and the views are totally different. I really want to go to Chile, with Plet. And Australia and Europe... and Asia. Experience poverty, desolation, grief. it's not real here. We only see it through tv and the media. I need to experience some life and reality. And fun too of course. haha i feel so excited. more so excited than ...not. its a good thing.
