Dude Looks Like a Lady, or song of Death.

so..Thanksgiving break was almost as bad as it could have been.

Tueday night--leave Dayton at 5:30. While driving, minding my own business, the ABS light clicks on. 30 seconds later, the radio dies. Shit, I think to myself...this is going to be a long 3 hour trip with no music. All while I'm bitching silently to myself, I suddenly realize my car is no longer going faster. I push down on the gas, and nothing happens. The car lurches forward in a sad attempt to continue forward motion, but othing happens. In a panic, I pull off to the side of the highway on what I thought was an exit ramp, but ended up leading to another highway. I call AAA, and they tell me they'll call me when someone os on the way...meanwhile, Steph (sassiestephie) is sitting in her car behind me, it's dark, cars are flying past at 90 mph, and it's absolutely freezing. 2 hours later, a tow truck comes, starts the car up, and tells me it's fine to drive home. After much speculation with the parents, it's decided I'll try driving home on Wednesday morining, and seeing what happens.

Wednesday--Steph and I head at 7 AM. 15 min away from my house, the car, once again, does the same thing. I roll, somehow, approx 2 miles to a gas station, where my car literally dies in a parking spot. I didn't even have to turn the car off, it just stopped. Dad comes (2 hours later), and takes the car to a shop. They can't find anything wrong, dad drives the car 3 hours, no problem. I look like a crazy woman who doesn't know how to drive.

Thursday--Thanksgiving. I realized that both times my car died, Dude Looks Like a Lady was playing on the radio. Apparently, my car has the same love for Aerosmith that I do. The only time it breaks down is when Im driving, and that song comes on the radio. AEROSMITH KILLS MY CAR!!

Saturday--Birthday. Mom yells at me for being fat. Several times. I cried. Happy Birthday to me.

Sunday--drove back to Dayton. Procrastinated going to sleep.

The End.
