Red Day

July 10 is Marisse's Day. As requested (take note: "requested"), I bought her a small Blueberry cake for her birthday. As soon I arrived at the office, I immediately gave her my gift. I'm glad she loved the cake. Ü

Marrise: Caught in the act. Hihihi..

HARDwork

At last, I've experienced working more than 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. And I was not happy about it. Managers requested us (Marisse, Chazey, and I) to help JP people with their work for one week. At first, I was asked to do documentation for something which I cannot mention here. The next day, I was given the task to code something. I know it was doable, but it's impossible for me to finish it for just one day. So that task was handed over to somebody else, and I ended up doing the documentation. The task given to us was not easy. We felt severe headache. Major headache everyday! It was too tiring and stressful. I don't want it to happen again. Huhuhu..

Jewelry Making

Another joyful event happened. Yesterday, I attended the Jewelry Making course at Cybermall. Jewelry and accessories are really not my interest; I don't know why I signed up for this course. But a confirmation email was sent to me, and so I attended.

As I entered the room, I saw the sample accessories displayed in a table. Beautiful sets of jewelry captured my eyes. I felt excited. And so I went to the other table to get my kit (it's inside an orange paper bag), took a seat on the second row, and waited.

We started making necklace made of pearls. Mr. Manny and his staff taught us the basics, and the rest are up to us. So here's my simple design:

Focus on the necklace my mom is wearing. LOL

I know it's not really that nice, but I got a prize for it!

The precious prize: a bracelet.

My necklace was chosen as one of the most beautiful necklaces designed in class. Hahaha! So I got the pink bracelet as a prize. The next thing we did was a bracelet made of semi-precious stones.

This is a bracelet, believe it or not.

I know it was badly made, but mom says it looks nice. I wanted to repeat it. I'll get the two pearls and will make earrings. Hehe! The last thing we did was a supposed-to-be-necklace. Take a look:

This is not a necklace, I know.

It should have been longer, but because of lack of time, I made it something like a choker instead.

Mr. Manny gave each one of us a pair of earrings as give-away. All in all, I had five accessories just yesterday, without spending a peso (only P52 for the fare). =P

My five accessories. Yey!
