A co-worker at DDK died of congential heart failure, his wife wanted Kevin to represent her in suing them.
the guy's death freaked both Kevin and Dame out cause they were the one's who found him.
Kevin is all worried about whether he is healthy enough and will live long enough to see Sarah grow up.
Dame was all worried about not living long enough to be there for Veronica.
During Kevin's physical the doc asked about medical history, Kevin only knew about his mom's side. The doc encouraged him to find out about his dad's. He found him. They talked breifly, he was suppose to come by Kevin's later that day or it may have been that next day & he never showed. He eventually came by Kevin's officetried to apologize and in the end of the visit he left him a video tape...later he watches it and it's of Kevin and his dad playing the snow.
While the trial was going on, it put a lil' bit of a strain on Kev's and Dame's friendship.
It was discovered that DDK knew of the heart condition, but never told the guy, they also didn't tell him that even though Dame and a few others voted him in for partnership, he wasn't gonna get it because of that. Dame didn't find out until Kevin showed him a letter the guy's wife brought by showing the rejection letter was dated for the day b4 the guy died. When Kev was gonna put one of the guy's on the stand who was willing to testify against the company, they ended up settling out of court.
throughout all that Dame and Veronica was talking about moving in together, they looked at a appartment, but he did finally confess that after the man's death it made him scared to be without her. Ok the details on them I keep forgetting.
Oh yea, Kevin wanted to have sarah on tape cause he didn't wanna miss her first steps. Eventually she did walk and it was caught on tape.
