alright. so today could possibly out-do the day my car got backed into. i was up at 1030, was going to go back to sleep around 1ish, BUT my sister called and said that bryce, my nephew, needed to be picked up from nursery because he had three diarrhea diapers. (there went my 'nap'.) so since my brother-in-law was off half a day, he was going to pick bryce up and bring him to my house so i could take a shower. all is well until i give bryce some apple juice. i figured since the little guy must be dehydrated, i'd give him something...low and behold, he pukes...not just anywhere...but all over my right side and my hair that was over my shoulder. yea, i'm disgusted at this point. i undress myself and him, throw the clothes in the washer and clean up what was on the chair and floor. to keep this semi short. he proceeds to puke another time, on my arm this time. as i'm clean that up from my arm and the floor, he craps and it sounds like a faucet. not a pretty sound. so the poor thing is standing there watching me clean, and he craps again. this time i know i have to change the diaper or it will come spilling out. i put a towel down, lay him down...eww. it's not normal. it's like...water with food in it. kinda like his puke. so i throw the dog in the bedroom cause she's eating (yea it's gross) the puke and poop. clean his behind and call my sister. we go sit on the back porch with some sprite this time hoping it will settle his belly. but nope...as soon as i sit down with him...blllaahh, all over me AGAIN! so i'm on the back porch with just my bra on and luckily my dad comes home shortly followed by my sister. i get a new shirt on so i can ride with my sister to her house with a bucket in case he pukes again. luckily i was there because he puked in the car. wow...since bryce got dropped off...it's been a long day. i won't even go into what happened when we got to my sis's house. i feel bad for the lil guy. hopefully he'll feel better tomorrow or soon. the doctor said it was a 'roto virus' or something...and a gastrointestinal virus that's been going around. only contagious for children ages 3 months to two years. my brother-in-law said the diarrhea could last nine days and the vomiting for two to three days. let me tell you, if you have a kid or relative that you have to watch who has this, it's not fun. not at all.
on a better note. iowa was fun! stayed a week at jaydon's. i have pictures on iamkleigh.yafro.com :)
puke = yuck
