It had taken KC a while to find the mall once he reached the city limits. He wandered a bit, observing mostly, trying to get his bearings on his one time home. Lex crossed KC's mind when he saw a fight break out amoung some merchants. He wonder what Lex was up to now-days, if he was even still around. Before long KC found himself at the entrance to the mall. He walked in, finding the halls empty.
Soon after he heard voices from the cafe. KC walked up and found Jack and Patsy and satisfied he found people he could trust he collapsed to the floor from exhaustion.
