The Mall had changed more than KC realized. Apparently he'd picked the right time to return as there were six new mall rats. Walking around he recognized most people but they'd changed. Grown up. They weren't the same people KC knew. Jack was different, not just the hair. He was with Ellie and Ryan had kids to mind. Dal was dead. Bray was around but he was with Amber. It seemed everyone had someone.
