opening night

Nov 05, 2004 23:58

well heres how the night went:

get to high school at 6:30. hang out doing absolutely nothing until around 7:15 when i finally decide to put on stage make up. then i helped other, less make up knowledgable people.

around 7:30 we went through all these crazy traditions... which i will remember forever to pass on. great times, and i love you guys!

then difabs gets everyone together and we do more traditions. then stupid warm-ups. then antic spring goes on.

during antic spring i learn some... well interesting facts about the senoirs which was entertaining. intermission comes and then we are on

dancing around to billy joel before going on stage never gets old....

then we begin!!! and no one laughs at any point. i did not mess up my one line **applause**.

so my lil part is done and then i sit in the audience. i see jordan and sean like run by and i'm like wtf..... well henning (the crazy lighting guy) was loose in the building and well that leads to no good. hahahahaha

i go on stage again, somewhat messed up and get confused about where to exit. and damn friends sitting in the audience and the house lights weren't dark enough for me not to see them.

then i have loads of time before going back on. i go back on really early and its pitch black so i'm terrified.... then i end up going back again cuz i forgot something. i hate back stage.

then its the party scene!!! with messed up strobes and all. got me all dizzy but thats the whole fun of it.

then the emotional ending i almost start cracking up because of the dummies.
ending goes well.... and the play as a whole did---- GREAT JOB YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!

off to the diner for cast party!!!! of course the freshmen were like banished to their own table but its alllll good cuz us freshman rock!!! hahaha good times i dont knwo what i'd do without you guys

well that was my night, everyone who came tonight thanx and i hope you enjoyed the show...

and woohoooooo show #2 tomorrow! lets kick ass again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
