ah roma e amore mio.
so far:

+fountain of trevi
+spanish steps
+mouth of truth
+beautiful (oh my GOD) italian men shouting "belissima!" at me
+absinthe (mamma mia!)
the best part of the city is how the ancient stuff is EVERYWHERE, how you can be walking down a perfectly modern street, turn a corner, and see 800 year old saints and angels carved into, for example, the side of a drugstore. I keep expecting to go down the alley and find that its all a movie set. Its very, very beautiful. Tonight we are seeing the Colosseum. Its sunday, and tomarrow is a holiday (the assumption?) so I wont be able to mail anything until tuesday. Maschi, i def. bought a Roman Holiday shirt. Dont hate me, you can borrow it. I will most likely update again in Venice.
