I suspect a conspiracy.

What are the chances, after all, of Commander Une "accidentally" sending me to a camp where bringing the dead back is not only possible, but commonplace? This woman does not do accidents. This is the woman who is also, coincidentally, devoted to the ideals of a dead man. Yes, she says that her mental health has greatly improved since the end of the war, but - are we sure that the body of Treize Khushrenada was taken care of? Since I doubt that the explosion would have completely destroyed it - explosions don't seem that effective at taking people out, for some reason - were his remains fished out of the ruins of his mobile suit, sent in, identified, re-identified, and then flown into the sun for safe disposal buried? And if they were buried, did the grave remain undisturbed? Has anyone checked, recently?

It may sound as if I'm overreacting, but it would not be good for Khushrenada to show up now. Or, well, ever. I killed him, dammit, and he should stay dead, for the sake of my sanity if nothing else.

Barring any unfortunate accidents, this place isn't too terrible. I rather like these zombies. They take more hits with a sword or shotgun than the dummies I use for training at home. And they move, too. Also, I can cut the dishonourable camper-molesting tentacle monster up over and over again since it seems to re-grow limbs. The gorillas and goats are, however, extremely disturbing. I never, ever want to see anything like the incident with the boy who was late for breakfast today again. A weaker man would be scarred for life. I managed to decapitate a good number of gorillas, but they just got up, headless, and started wandering around. And I couldn't catch any of the goats at all! They're unnaturally fast. It seems to be a side effect of whatever the Camp Director has done to them.

I do not think that I will want to remain here for long. I'd better get started on tracking down that murderer.

Agent Chang, out.
