Damn. For some reasons, my shoulders are sore. Maybe I’m stressed out or something. I hope it will be gone by tomorrow - because its gunna be a hell busy day. Fridays... I’m starting to hate it. You see, my schedule for Fridays just sucks. I’ll be having a 2 hour lunch break (12 to 2p) then Geophysics lab from 2 to 4p. FOUR O'CLOCK on Fridays?!!

I can't believe you guys, I really thought you guys changed for the better. This is the very reason why I left the deaf community a long time ago, and I'm still hesitant to come back.
As far as I'm concerned, Justine is already in the process of bettering herself and that most certainly does not make her a stuck up bitch even if it involves leaving the deaf community. She is already in the process of getting her life on track, and kudos to her for that. Who the fuck wants to hang out with a bunch of so called backstabbing friends who are only interested in drinking and drugs? If she's lost respect from those people, oh well, I don't think she really gives a damn.
Yes, life's short, and yes, your youth is short too, but, really, who wants to be in school when they're 30? It's a whole lot of a different world when you're 30, you have different kind of obligations that may make going back to school even more difficult than the obligations you had when you were 20.
Sigh.
You ditched Lisa, Richard, just because you want to go out with your hearing friends (new year eve). How often do you hang out with other deafies, while you ditch them more? What friends is this?
Who cares? Maybe she's got better relationships with her hearing friends than she does with Richard and lisa.
"Deaf community… it is my choice; NOT yours! I do value/treasure the friendships that I have made over the years, but I will not let it limit me from exploring other options." Whoever said that being part of the deaf community limit you from exploring your options....I think you need to get your brain checked out
I think she's absolutely right, it's her choice not to let it limit her options, there's nothing wrong with her testing the waters outside of the deaf world. Did it ever occur to you that it might not be where she feels like she belongs? Perhaps she feels more comfortable in the hearing world. It obviously doesn't affect anyone here, so what's the big fucking deal?
I agree with Ryan, Life is always short, should enjoy it while it last. Ryan changed, to be a better person, and of course you haven't since you left high school. I have heard so much about you, driving people nuts. "Why do we need express train from Calgary to Edmonton?" DUH its faster than Car and bus. Where is ur brain is at? You complain, whine, and all shits. We don't want to hear any of it. Each of us have our own life and we do what we please. Like other said, people don't care about you. You made your choice, you left deaf community. Don't you know you were part of it Deaf??
Do you believe in gossip? if you do, I feel sorry for you, because you should really get your head out of your ass. So she complains and whines all the time, don't waste your time telling her to shut up, just don't read her lj. News flash for you, she's not deaf, by the way.
You all need to grow up if you expect to do well in life.

Fact remains, she's got an cochlear implant, and because of that, she is no longer a deaf person. I believe she would define herself more of an hard of hearing person, I would if I were in her shoes. She doesn't identify herself as a Deaf person, more of a deaf person.
Who are you to say she's ashamed of her heritage and is denying her identity? You say that she doesn't know you and has no right to conclude that you've changed, how can you say the same about her if you don't know her either? You're an idiot.
Perhaps she'll always be an outsider in the hearing world, I would guess she likes it better there right now. I don't fucking blame her.
