I just received an Owl back from my father. I can either stay here for the hols or... the three of you have been invited to spend it at my house. Maybe we could meet later and discuss the possibility?
I did it. I broke it off. Something that should have been so easy to do. But it wasn't. It was one of the most difficult things I've had to do. But everything happens for the best. Ernie and Millicent belong together, and now I'm not in the way anymore.
And now there's Hannah to think about. Well, I've always thought about her really. She is my best friend, right behind Ernie at any rate. But it turns out that she, well, likes me. More than like though I suspect. Three years? Do mere crushes last that long? But the thought of her liking me more than a friend doesn't feel ackward. I'm strangly comfortable with it.
My parents were right. The right road does look promising.
