Wow, I've spent a whole 2 hours maybe studying, and I'm probably gonna end up fucked for all my exams. But seriously, it's ok. Cuz I got a 94 goal 2 grade in math, 94 in environmental, and, get this, a 98 in bio. So whatever happens, I'll probably be ok. And as long as I don't get a C in english or french, which I don't think I will, I'm ok with a B. The only one I'm kinda worried about is physics, but he's giving us an AP, and as long as we get what would be a 5, we get 100%, a 4 we get a 90%, and so on. So I really only need 50% of the exam right to get an A. So whatever, exams will be fine I think.
And I'm starting to feel better. The cough, though still present, is much less painful in my chest, and thus breathing is becoming easier/less painful. And my voice is starting to come back, so hopefully tuesday I'll feel ok still. I told Jim Friday that I was just gonna go home and so I skipped tech, went home, and fell asleep at like 4:30, and slept 'till morning
And yesterday was kinda fun too. Our "varsity" team, although we still kinda suck, we're getting better. Especially at working as a team. And despite our 3-2 record that resulted in us not making semi-finals, it ended on a positive note which was fun. And I enjoyed spending time w/ the 3 seniors, in the same sense that I enjoy tech. It's nice being on a team and having support from other people. There's so little other time I get that, cuz things at home still suck.
Then Caitlyn came over (they were in from Indiana), we went to the mall and my mom and I went to the pet store to look around. Haha, 2 ladies came up to me and asked if I worked there. Made me feel special. But yea, I always feel so bad for those animals, especially the puppies. They look so cramped and on the metal mesh floor which looks so painful for their little paws. So in a sense I kinda don't like the place. Plus once I was there and there was a dead, dried up frog in one of the reptile cages and we told someone and they took it out, but it looked like it had been dead for some time, so I had to think that they really didn't take good care of their animals if they hadn't noticed it until we told them. Anyway, then we came home and played monopoly and I studied a bit. I got to talk to Matt, who had some stories to tell about working on sets and such and it was awesome talking to him. Anyway...
So yea, I guess A New Brain is rubbing off on me and even though so many things are going bad for me, I'm starting to have a positive outlook on life. I'm gonna go away to college, hopefully in California, and I'm gonna start all over again, only this time wiser and more experienced at life. But in the mean time, I'm going to be a second semester senior. And i'm going to try to enjoy that time and enjoy my friends and forget about all the bad things.
And now for something completely different
