Alex Turner was not the original singer in Arctic Monkeys. Initially the role of frontman was taken by Glyn Jones, a fellow Stackbridge High student. At that point Turner was not confident enough to be a singer. "Alex was really humble and didn’t realise how great his own voice was," explains Jones.
