Protest @ Elon
There was a protest today. I went to it for a little bit, the tail end of things, I guess.
The former CEO of Domino's Pizza was here as a guest speaker under the guise of "Ethical Business Leaders." Elon has about 5 speakers lined up, and are bringing them in to speak to the School of Business and the public on Ethics.
Here's where it gets tricky. The guy has openly, and repeatidly bashed homosexuality and the likes. He is the founder and Director of two organizations that both have been deemed "Hate Organizations" by GLAAD. So the problem arose that he was here speaking under the label "Ethical."
So, needless to say- a protest was held.
