So Beautiful. Beautiful Disaster.
It has been a crazy past few days. And an expensive one, too.
Holly, Michelle, Cliff and I saw Kelly Clarkson in Pittsburgh last Wednesday. We left around one in the afternoon, and barely arrived in time at 730 for the show. Of course that meant after the show we didn't get home until 530 the next morning. Needless to say, I called in from work and spent Thursday with my dad working around the house. I served dinner at the VFW Friday night which was absolutely insane. We went on about an hour wait. Also saw Lady in the Water. We'll get to that in a bit.
Saturday I got to sleep in, but had a very successful Martini party that night. Glamorous, if I might say so myself. And then on Sunday had a blast at Kings Dominion. Holly, Michelle, Monica and her boyfriend, Cliff, Sean, and I all went but the coolest part was meeting Alisha and Etenesh down there! We had so much fun. It was so good to see them! I miss VCU.
Lady in the Water was a terrible movie, and it really sucked because I had been looking forward to it. The plot was terrible; the entire movie just seemed really, really cheesy. The dialogue was bland, and somehow I'm suppose to believe that Paul Giamanni can hold his breath for ten minutes underneath a swimming pool? Terrible.
I'm working in Richmond today and tomorrow, as well as Thursday. And Wednesday I'll be in New Jersey at Six Flags for what hopefully will be a little bit better of an adventure than last time. Hopefully not as hot. Man..
