(no subject)
So I'm in a lobby in a hotel in New Orleans. Usually, we stay in the Hotel Montelone (which is the greatest hotel in the world, amen) but my fucking rich aunts and uncles are paying for this liek five hundred dollar room in the Harrah's Casino. The rooms are really nice. Marble bathtub and shower. I was really excited because they have a comedy club in the hotel, but then I learned that it was 21 and up. So i guess I'll continue just walking around the French Quarter surreptitiously drinking my diet pepsi and vodka.
I'll tell you though. This is the greatest city in the world. Tomorrow I am going to look at Loyola New Orleans. If it's anything like the city itself, I'll love it. Today we my mother, father, and I drove from Natchidoches, Louisiana where we spent the night last night. When we got here we met up with my two aunts and uncles and we went to Cafe Du Monde for some Beignets and Cafe Au Lait. Amazing, of course. Tomorrow, I also think that I am going to dine with the lovely Chris Sellers because I miss him dearly now that he is back in his Chocolate City.
On the other hand, I am freaking out right now. I am the biggest dumbass in the world. Like, for real. I forgot to request off for Friady, the night of showcase playwriting juries and i need need need to find a cover. I couldnt find one this week and if I just don't go again I'll get fired. Which I mean, I want to quit, I jsut hate the confrontation. So any Jamba employees that are reading this...help.
