Save Encounters with Canada!
Have found out that Encounters With Canada has had its funding pulled by the new Conservative government. Although there is always debate about the relevance of on-line petitions, I hope all those of you who attended this program in high school will sign the Save Encounters With Canada petition and spread the word.
This program is too valuable in the education of our high school kids for it to be cancelled. And I was really hoping to go back as a teacher someday!
