Had a good, fun night at pyroclasticgrub's birthday/Christmas party. Met lots of new people, and there was much laughing, drinking (mmm... wine), singing, and dancing (not by me, except for a minute of dancing jumping before I remembered that jumping without my orthotics causes my heels to hurt).

But did you also have table dancing and hilariously bad 90's dance music that I was singing madly along to because I used to love the songs?

No table dancing, but we did have Karyn's Czech boyfriend Bob serenade us with "Ice, Ice Baby". It was awesome.

Oh, and there was pear brandy from the Czech Republic that was about 75% proof, but I declined because, as mom said when I told her "I didn't raise no fool."

Good for you for declining! You have more will-power than me. Pear brandy sounds really good and sweet. :)

And of course I never tried insanely-high-proof stuff in South Africa. I would never do such a thing. *shifty eyes*

Also, we need to organize a Christmas party for (at least) the four of us (after I've done my shopping!) and I can bring Cranium. :)
