I am so sad that Don Adams died!
My absoute favourite show as a kid was Inspector Gadget. I spent hours and hours playing Penny, my Pound Puppy Lady was Brain, and Mom was Uncle Gadget. We had all sorts of great adventures! Then later, I got into watching Get Smart. I adored watching how similar Maxwell Smart was to Inspector Gadget. It was such a brilliantly funny show. I desperately wish that show was in syndication on one of the channels we get. Sometimes I think that digital cable would be worth it just for Get Smart.
I just feel lost and traumatized knowing that Inspector Gadget is dead! Think I need to go give my Gadget doll a big hug now.
