Merry Belated Christmas :)
Another Christmas has passed! I had an extremely quiet and peaceful Christmas this year, which I enjoy. The girls and I celebrated by going out to dinner and exchanging little gifts. I spent Christmas Eve at Mikes aunt's house with all of his family and then spent Christmas day at home with mine. I was spoiled rotten this year.
Mike was in hot water to begin with because he didn't get me anything for my birthday. Not that I'm expecting something, but even a card would be nice. I go out of my way for every holiday for him so it was slightly a slap in the face when that occurred. But since my birthday was in August, I'll let that go. He made it up for me for Christmas, for sure. First he made me open up a cashmere, goose down throw pillow which was absolutely adorable (I love pillows!), followed by a pair of diesel sunglasses I've been oogling over, a hobo scarf, and then last a photo album. In the album of pictures of us, he strategically placed 2 Taylor Swift Concert tickets for June in Boston (yay mini road trip) -- a class on how to make sushi -- and for New Years eve, I get to rent a designer dress as well as getting my hair and make up done. I am shocked he did so well, like blew my mind! (And yes, I love Taylor Swift. I saw her in concert for free last year and have been obsessed ever since.)
My family spoiled me with gift certificates and money since I am a pain in the ass to shop for. My brother got me a tune up kit for my snowboard and my other brother got me a gift certificate to Jet Blue Airlines for the next time I travel. All in all, this was a very good Christmas.
We're expecting a snowstorm for today into tomorrow night. I'm extremely excited considering we haven't had any snow yet and I'm dying to go snowboarding! I'm off to get my hair done today before the snow storm.
