Someone on my Facebook page who was also a Livejournal friend.
I posted an article re: the Detroit officers who shot a 7 year old girl in the head and killed her over the weekend, and said that it, along with another Seattle police officer stomping an Hispanic guy in the head, is why I don't trust the police.
The person in question lost his shit and, among other things, told me that I needed to "bite my tongue," on my own goddamn, Facebook page.
Nobody gets to do that. So I showed him the virtual door.
And in case that individual is reading this post, if you respond here with any of your malarkey, I will report you to LiveJournal for harassment. I didn't delete you from my Facebook or LJ because I want to keep talking to you.
Apparently. I was under the impression that the police should be held to a higher standard of accountability than regular folks, but apparently saying "Oops..it was an accident" makes it all okay.

So they don't lose their shit when children get shot in the head, but when someone criticizes the police, a line has seriously been crossed. What.

I'm just kind of flabbergasted at how ridiculous a reaction this is. Don't mind me; I'll be over here trying to re-comprehend the universe.
