that happened to me once. the gas stopped and it was only halfway full and i didnt want to try to force it so i just stopped. what did your dad say?

according to my father, the gas stops because gas coming out of the big tank is hitting the pipes or something in a wierd way. so he said to just do it by hand until it's been running smoothly for awhile and then try to lock it in place. well, it never really ran smoothly but i knew that the tank was really empty and he told me how much to put in. i didn't like not being able to lock it and just have it fill. i was scared i was going to overfill it and have gas leak out all over me.

i dont know how i feel about that. i just stopped and got more later. i didnt want it to overflow either.
