Right... I have a livejournal? I totally forgot...
Well, not really. I used to keep this up during my lunch break at work, but since they are cocksucking assholes...
Right, work greviances:
1. They took away all our holiday time. No days off, ever. Well, we had Thanksgiving off, but who knows if we are getting any time for Christmas? Noone even bothered to tell my department that they took away all the holidays.
2. Since upper management decided we don't get any time off, they should at least have the courtesy to show up the day after Thanksgiving. Noone wanted to be there, but we weren't given that option, now were we?
3. No more internet access. If I ever forget to bring a book in to read at lunch, I'm screwed. Thanks.
4. They are doing meetings with everyone to discuss what exactly it is we do. You don't know? Didn't you hire us and tell us what we do? There's a lovely waste of money right there.
5. Because of above meetings, I think they are laying people off soon. LAY ME OFF PLEASE!!!! I could do with a severance package and some unemployment right about now...
Well, now that I got all that off my chest... hehe Nothing else has really been going on. Thanksgiving we went to my in-laws' house to eat. That is such a loud family. We then went to my great-aunt's house to meet my parents there. There were more people there, but it was infinitely more quiet.
I did all my Christmas shopping for Phil last week. Now I can't wait to Christmas to get here so I can give it all to him. I got some pretty good stuff if I do say so myself. Of course, I'll still have to do shopping for stocking stuffers, but that's a last minute thing anyway. One thing I didn't get him was a book he wanted, he keeps checking the library for it, and I didn't want to tell him not to get it at the library, because then he would know what he was getting. So ha, screwed yourself out of that one buddy! ;)
So if I do get laid off (is it bad that I really want that?) I think I will just collect unemployment and save it up for 6 months or so and then haul ass down to Tennessee and find a job there.
