(no subject)

I have been planning since like 11 o'clock a desert I want. I made a banana split sundae type thing a little bit ago, and I have some of the ingredients still hanging around, so I'm going to modify it and hopefully shut up this sweet tooth that's been yelling at me all day. It is:

Angel food cake "croutons" (pre-made angel food cake, cubed, and oven toasted, then cooled til they are crispy)
Thin mint cookie ice cream
home-made carmel sauce

The original receipe calls for vanilla or strawberry ice cream and bananas added to the caramel sauce right before serving.

Almost makes me want to skip dinner...

Then later I'm going to put to use my betty crocker filled cake set (probably tomorrow) and make a devil's food cake filled with cookies&cream pudding (bought on a whim, and because it was on sale) and white frosting. Hopefully this one will come out a little prettier than last time, haha

When I can have a baking gear budget again, I'm buying some oven proof mugs (for a receipe from Everyday w/Rachael Ray) and some souffle dishes. I saw a strawberry souffle and have been dying to try it!
