Yesterday, I was cleaning the living room. I was going through some unopened mail, and I found something from our mortgage company that said it was concerning our escrow payments on the front of the envelope. I opened it, figuring it was going to say that they had refigured it and our new payment would be slightly higher. That was what it was saying, but instead of going up, it went down $40 a month. Then at the bottom was a refund check for just over $400 for what they had overcharged us previously. I was excited because it was like "free" money, even though it's just money we've already paid. We'd been planning on getting some new pots and pans because our non-stick ones were getting all scratched up. We used part of the $400 to get a new stainless steel set.
They're all so pretty and shiny!
I'd also had a roll of really thin drafting paper rolling around in the back of my car and making a general mess of itself. I was getting ready to throw it away and tossed it on the loveseat. I left the room and heard krinkling. When I came back, I found Ollie all bundled up in it.
