Man, I am so BORED today! Oooh, they changed the font for the updating thingie too. Cool, I like.
Anyway, Phil has this patch of hair that grows at the base of his neck. Sometimes it sticks out of the back of his shirts and makes it look like he is an apeman underneath, but he's not. About a month ago he looked at it and decided to shave it off. I think he'd never actually saw it before, because really, who looks at the spot at the base of your neck? Not unless you have a pair of mirrors and a reason. Now he gets annoyed at it when it grows back and wants me to wax it. So tonight we're metro-sexual-izing him. Or partially anyway. hehe
I've decided to make fudge for my coworkers for Christmas. A batch of peanutbutter (courtesy of Alton Brown) and chocolate (a la Emeril). Target has these cute little gift boxes in their $1 spot so I hope there are some (namely 6) left that I can snatch up to package them in.
I had a message on my voicemail at work the other day. When I called back the number left, I got a machine that babbled at me in Spanish (I'm sure the information was all pertinent, but I didn't understand a word of it), then said Adios (okay, so I understood A word) and hung up on me. I was like uuuuhhhhh and stared at my phone for a second. Then I looked in our system and saw that there was a different number listed on their account. So I called that. This time I got another recording in English. However the recording just said "Good-bye" and hung up on me again. I was like, what is the point of having an answering machine if it just hangs up on you? Gr.
My new icon makes me giggle.
I started work on the model I have to build for my space planning class in class last night. I didn't have enough foam board to make the whole thing. Luckily, class was ending just as I was cutting my last piece. So I need to buy more of that today. If it goes together easily, it's not going to take me that long at all to build.
Leaving work in 8 minutes, yay!
