so tonight, i think i'm less cynical about the higher education system. the reason? a sarcastic comment from allison! "psshh, new ideas, who comes up with Those??" haha.. it's true, i guess there really are some new ideas that are out there to be discovered... 'post modern' will evolve, somehow, into something new. that's nice to know.
another thing i'm wondering about is virgin births.. or getting pregnant without actually having sex. don't sperm die within a few miliseconds of being exposed to the air? or is it possible for them to be somehow quickly transferred to the appropriate place in order for them to spawn a child. and if someone is a virgin, unless they've had some sort of accident, like in chasing amy, or they've done everything except having sex, wouldn't the hymen prevent pregnancy? i think it's kind of stupid to claim that you got pregnant without having sex... does sex just mean penetration? or can't it be applied to other things... which reminds me of this girl in highschool who refused to lose her virginity and instead told everyone about all the anal sex she was having (ew!). so anal sex isn't sex then? you're still a virgin if you take it up the ass? i think that's absolutely bullshit. what do you think?
