After my last post I was completely embarrassed and at the same time, perversely proud to notice that the episodes I listed as having watched since the previous post amounted to 87. In NINE days. And over the next 24 hours I watched another 13 episodes, bringing my total for those ten days up to an even 100 (ten of which were ( Greek )

tv: colbert report, tv: greek, tv: x-files, capping, links, wallpaper (i know!)

Heh, I'm still trying to power through the entire series for xf-caps, but it is slow, slow going. I hope it'll be worthwhile in the end, though.

Enjoy rewatching! So many people I know are doing that same thing right now, which is very fun, I think.

Are you really capping the entire series before opening the site? That seem CRAZY.

I'm finding the rewatch slow going at the moment, but I know that story-wise, things pick up soon (and not in a mytharc way, but in a Mulder-and-Scully-become-more-AWESOME-together way).

Oh, I'm definitely not waiting on all 201 before I launch, lol! That WOULD be crazy. I've got a self-imposed goal; finish the first disc of all nine seasons (36/201 ain't bad, I think), and that gives me time to tweak the site while I'm getting it ready. Then I suppose I'll just continue to add to it as quickly and regularly as possible after that...

Hee yes, I think S3 (or even late S2) is when it starts to really get ridiculously awesome.

Although I don't think I got back to you, I completely agreed with what you said about only wanting Cappie/Casey because it was what he wanted, and I too forgot all about them when he and Rebecca started up. Only I'm firmly on the Cappie/Rebecca train. LOVE THEM. I think they're far more mature than any of the Casey/anyone 'ships, and I love that when they do screw up they seem to learn and grow from it. I'm going to be so incredibly bummed out when it eventually goes back to Casey/Cappie. Especially after that flashback episode where it didn't seem like they had much of a relationship to begin with, though I realize that was a one-sided view of the thing.

I'm not sure why I'm not completely on board for Rebecca/Cappie. I think what I really need there is some sort of angsty situation to commit fully. Funnily enough, Cappie and Casey getting back together might just do the trick there. There are so many things about the relationship that I love, but my absolute favorite moment was when Cappie said to Casey that she liked him for himself, (not-so-subtly implying that Casey never did). I swear, that moment I was thiiiis close to full-on 'shipping. But then nothing much more happened for me to reach the tipping-point.

One thing that really cheered me up about the Cappie/Casey situation was, in fact, that flashback episode, because it made it seem a lot more like Casey+Evan=4EVA than Cappie being Casey's one and only.
