You can add .htaccess files to any number of subdirectories. Directives in the subdirectory htaccess file will override those in the root. So if your root .htaccess normally returns a 403 on hotlinked images, you may want to add another .htaccess file to your Kill Bill folder that will redirect all requests from that annoying site to a custom image -"NoHotlinkingThankyou.jpg". Serve them up something that is embarrassing but not offensive (not gay porn since some people are amused by it). Something like this.BTW, I think you can do all of this from the DH web panel.
Hot linking is very difficult to discourage because the original images remain in the persons cache for a long time and they are unaware that the images are not displaying to anyone except themselves.
Just a few months back someone on LJ did a picspam hotlinking to 40 or so of my Grey's Anatomy screencaps. For about a week they were unaware that all those images were displaying was an ugly "remote linking has been disabled" message. LOL, They then went and replaced them by hotlinking to the Grey's caps on Striped Wall which also has hotlinking disabled. Yes, Hotlinkers are an idiotic breed!
