I have reached my goal! Woohoo, 100 101 movies! I actually watched FIVE yesterday, though I went off-course a bit when I went to a friend's place to watch some movies last night. We saw The Simpsons Movie, Babel and Requiem for a Dream, and in addition, I watched Pan's Labyrinth and Casablanca, and then today I saw Brokeback Mountain and Hotel ( Read more... )

Five on one day? wow! *izimpressed*
I ALWAYS fall asleep during the third movie I watch, no matter which one that is. even if it's my fave movie of all time or a movie I desperately wanted to see.

I know, I'm like SuperSpike! Heh! I did break it up, though. First I watched a movie and a half before going with my friend to the store where we shopped for dinner. Then we went home and watched one movie, cooked, ate while watching the second movie and after the third one I went home and watched the last half of Casablanca. I think the key here is scheduling activities for yourself so you won't get bored. But now I don't actually have to do that, because next year I'm reading instead, which is a whole other beast.

Oh, and I haven't sent the DVDs yet, I keep forgetting to buy a padded envelope when I go to the store. Any day now I'll remember, I swear!

Me too! But what I'm most happy about is that it's made me like movies again.

I did enjoy it, and all the other movies I watched over the past few days.

Yeah, I don't think I'll ever watch that many new movies in a year again unless I make a conscious effort to. At times it does seem like a bit of a chore, which defeats the purpose.

Funny you should mention 30 Rock. I'm serious, I've been talking to some other guys about shows, and fist they mention Dexter, that you just rewatched, and then one of them made a joke about making someone pregnant, and told me it's a 30 Rock joke. I told them I do not know about it.

Does it ring a bell to you?
