I couldn't have planned it better if I'd tried
First, a poll of utmost importance.

Which is my round-about way of saying that I finished capping season 2. The episodes, I mean. The extras are gonna take a while. Oh, also? Spaceballs caps.
Secondly, I couldn't have picked a better time to fall completely under the spell of P&P fic if I'd set a timer. The one I'm reading right now is my favorite so far, but I'm not finished yet.
Thirdly, my thoughts on the VM thing...
I don't like the FBI idea at all. Putting aside the logistical and logical impediments to Veronica ever becoming an FBI agent (I've already accepted that Duncan wouldn't be granted custody of his child and that a judge would allow a line of questioning about someone's illegally obtained medical history, so I'm obviously willing to suspend disbelief for this show anyway), Veronica as a character is a terrible fit for the FBI. TERRIBLE.
The only way I can ever see her in the FBI would be in a manner similar to what embellished_me described here, where the FBI is the necessary evil to reach her objective of getting answers/finding justice.
I can actually see Veronica wanting to be an FBI agent right now, because I don't think she knows herself, and especially not her weaknesses, very well. I think it's all tangled up in her reluctance to take a closer look at any part of her own psyche/emotions.
But once she's actually there? Having to take orders without question? Having to work with a partner? Having to work with a TEAM? Yeah, she'd hightail it out of there before the first reprimand for her actions could be handed down.
That's not to say that if it came about (which I HIGHLY doubt) I wouldn't watch it before judging it. But I can tell you right now that I wouldn't consider it VM canon in so far as it pertains (ha! can you tell I've been reading regency!speak for a while now?) to vm-caps.com. Meaning, I'd have to see where it goes before deciding on whether to cap it for the site.

Charla and Mirna are so insanely stupid that I'm constantly baffled at how they manage to not get eliminated in the first few legs, but instead torture me through at least half the season. And just so you know, speaking with a Spanish accent or saying "grazie" when you're in a Portuguese speaking country is not going to endear you to the natives, the viewers or to anyone else on this planet. Just get eliminated already!
Danny and Oswald still own my soul and I love them to death. From the sliding down the glacier, to the "my manicurist is definitely going to kill me now" to the merry Chasing of the Phil, every little thing they do is magic. Please win, boys, it would do my heart good.
It is sorely needed now that my other joy, Rob and Amber were philiminated way before their time last week (while Uchenna and Joyce hang in there. Unfair!). I was so devastated by that outcome that I just had to download the Survivor All-Star season (which I then devoured in two days).
I have nothing much to say about the other teams. I still like the beauty queens and think they do a good job competing (sometimes. They are far too stupid about reading their clues thoroughly and being observant, but once they actually have a task to perform they do it well and they do it fast with a minimum of complaining *glares at...pretty much everyone else*), Teri and Ian don't bother me too much, the Guidos need to be eliminated soon and Eric and Danielle need to DIE!
In conclusion, every time I look at this icon I get thirsty.
