So, all this week has been a bummer in fandom, which is pretty much what I expected after seeing the episode. But it has helped me figure out a few things:
- I don't care if Logan and Veronica are together when the series ends. For me, they always end up together, and it doesn't matter if it's shown onscreen or not.
- I don't care what Rob thinks of my OTP. As long as he doesn't make them brother and sister, I'll 'ship them 'til the end. (And no, Rob, that's not a challenge. I mean, I know Aaron was a sleazy horndog and Lianne was an unfaithful bitch, but no. Just NO.)
- One bad episode doesn't spell the end for me. I got through Donut Run (which, in my opinion, was even worse) and I'll get through this.
- I don't care if Veronica and Piz date. Frankly, since he's been written as nothing but The Guy Who Likes Veronica and has taken up so much screentime, what else can they do with him? They either have to have him date her or have him turn out eeeevil. I'm actually thinking both will turn out to be true at this point.
Of course, this does not mean that I'm all fine and dandy with the past episode, or with the show (lazy writing, unnecessary retcons, factual errors up the wazoo, etc), but the Logan/Veronica thing? Not the problem right now.
