'Tis the season to be kerfuffling

Can you tell fandom is getting bored? If you can't, you're probably not a part of the Buffy, VM or Office fandoms.

I tend to think of their hallway make-out session the same way as I think of their relationship at the end of season 1 - they just want to be happy and not hurt each other for five seconds, especially since Veronica is leaving and there's no point starting something right then because they'll never be able to finish it before she jets off and they're separated for a week with all these issues hanging out in the open.

My problem is that from what I've seen, that's not really how I'm supposed to take that scene. In every other instance, when I've thought there was just the appearance of everything being okay while under the surface there were all these issues, things really were okay. There were no unresolved issues with Duncan and Veronica even though he had sex with her and left her thinking she was raped, all the while thinking she was his sister. And Logan and Veronica really were just ickly sweet and had no problems other than Logan burning down community pools.

I'm with you on hoping things won't be as bad as I'm imagining, but I'm still steeling myself.
