Gilmore Girls
I know people dislike the daughter storyline, but I actually like it. What I hate with the fiery passion of a thousand suns is the stupidity of Luke not telling Lorelai about it. It all felt so incredibly contrived.
Another thing I hate is that Sherilyn Fenn plays the mother. Hello! She was already in an episode of Gilmore Girls playing a quirky woman who had a weird daughter! Couldn't they at least have made her be connected to that past storyline? Though she was with Jess' dad and she did live in California. Hmmm... Well, they just shouldn't have used her.
Rory didn't annoy me much at all this episode, but I'm starting to wonder if Alexis Bledel is becomming a worse actress as she gets older? Or maybe I just cut her some slack when she was just a kid, but now it's just so glaringly obvious that she's bad. Like the shushing when she was reading the letter? So fake, so forced.
