I'm going to throw my two cents in here where it absolutely does not belong.
Dawn, while I can sympathize with your intentions, you of all people should know the power of text. It's one thing to try to talk things through with people ("behind your back" as you put it); it's another to flash-freeze an event in blogging history to be dragged back up on a whim. That's something much more permanent and something a lot of people will see with a minimum of effort on your part- just a click of a button. It doesn't fade with time, even if you're fine now.
I considered posting something to the effect of Lici's reply and I didn't when I noticed that there were no other negative replies. (Baa, baa, I'm a sheep.) I'm a little concerned about the fact that you deleted her comment. If you're free to get an annoyance off your chest, surely she is too. It doesn't compel you to enter into argument with her, if you don't want to argue. Deleting comments, especially discriminately or without discussing it with the commenter, could be seen as being in very bad taste.
"You're just seem to be angry that I made a post about something I was angry about - in which case I have to say if I can't be angry on my own time I should be allowed to be angry on my livejournal. If you wanna get into a debate on what is kosher for what to blog, I'm not interested."
An effective and condescending way to dismiss concerns I think are justified. I don't want to argue with you either, and you know me well enough to know I hate this kind of clique-politics. But I felt the need to speak up, and I wasn't the only one, and even if your intentions were good- and I don't doubt that- I hope you'll re-examine some of what I'm saying.
I don't want to censor you and you're free to write what you want. But if you dish it out, you have to be willing to take it.
My friend - the production manager - is looking for people to interact with the audience before the play and between acts. It would be a medieval role, she gives you a character and you work with it in a fancy outfit. XD It sounds like fun, but I'm not much of an actor so you were the first person I thought about.
