With KC in good hands, and a proper breakfast most likely cancelled, Jack decided to return to his room. What a day... He walked over to his desk and booted up his computer, deciding to write in his journal. Before the virus he had had an online journal, but surely the servers were no longer in operation. Still, Jack was better able to express himself while typing than using paper and pen.
It's weird... I haven't written here since before the Technos came. I was so busy then, and then I was captured, and though I've been home for a week, I just haven't had the energy to do anything but sleep. I know I should write about what's happened since I last wrote, but those stories could fill a book. Instead I'll just write about what's been happening since I came back to the mall.
As my luck would have it, the first person I saw when I arrived was Luke. Whoopee! *rolls eyes* That guy is such a prick! Apparently he and Ellie have broken up. Don't quite know what to think of that. I think it would be easier to face Ellie if they were still together. I mean, I know she won't want me back, but at least if she were with Luke I could pretend that it's because she's in love with him, not because she's forgotten about me.
I'm too tired to think about this right now. I think I'm going to go take a nap until lunch.
Jack saved the file with a password to open, shut down the computer, and curled up under his covers.
