It's so incredibly awesome that people post private AIM conversations on LJ. Shit if I did that, Id have the entire world know what I know and see how I've been treated. But no, I think I have a bit more respect than that...even for people I don't like ( Read more... )

ex's - just drop them. its almost impossible to become friends RIGHT after you break up, too many issues. down the line it can happen, but right away its honestly easier if you just walk away.

just my opinion though...

no i totally agree, and thats what i had told him that it would be too hard to be friends right now. last time we stayed friends, we ended up dating again.

same thing happened to me. we tried to be friends, slipped into having sex again, and just started dating.

I know...and it would harder to get over him if he's still in my life. Yet he got mad when I said I didn't want to be friends...even though we BOTH know it's best.

I mean, my last ex and I stopped talking after we broke up because it was kind of a bad break up. And a year later, we started talking again, and now we are fine, and even hang out.

exactly - the ex i tried to be friends with right off, i don't really talk to anymore. the ex i walked away from for a good 4-5 months, we started talking, and actually have fun hanging out.

smart move.

yea...I think it's better this way, even though it kind of sucks at the same time. But I don't really need his friendship at this time...for him to hurt me as much as he did and still is, I don't really want a friend like that.

Maybe a year or 2 down the road, things could work out.
