(no subject)
Damn, this isn't good. I ran into Joan and Izzy yesterday and they started asking questions about Eva. I tried to make like I didn't know a thing, but they got all suspicious and I finally had to make up a story about Ethan Rayne kidnapping her, but I got a bit confused and I'm not sure they completely believed me. At least they didn't notice her crossbow in the car; I left it in the cabin last night, it was stupid of me to keep it with me in the first place. Now I've probably got a slayer watching me, which is going to make it bloody hard to do my job sometimes.
On top of that, the boss is going to have a fit when he gets to the cabin and finds the mess. I returned this afternoon to find not only Eva gone and the guard demon dead, but glass all over the bedroom, blood on the porch. No way can I get it all cleaned up before he returns. I think I might just get a room at that little motel I saw just outside of town tonight; seems the safest thing till this blows over.
