Riley looked on at the gathered Slytherin house, all anxiously (well, as anxious as Slytherins got..) waiting for their Headmistress to arrive. He'd purposely pulled his chair to the front of the the group, turning it to face them. This made Riley feel just a bit superior to the lot, and he liked that

Glancing around, she took note of a few students in particular. Cecilia and Pansy were not too far away. MacDougal sat properly waiting for her to continue. Zabini and Nott were seated together, in their usual style, but both were giving her their devoted attention. Davis was among them, and she gave the young girl a brief glance.
O'Dannihugh had taken up residence at the very front of the gathering, and she nearly smirked in amusement at the sight of him taking such an obviously superior position.
And Potter...Potter had swaggered in at the last minute and had taken up a seat near to the Head Boy, his legs stretched out in front of him as though he belonged there.
Bletchley was missing, naturally.
"I am sure you're all aware by now that there was a certain...incident in this very room only a few nights ago. I do not want to belabor the point, but if I hear of something so disgraceful coming from this house again, I will be certain to consider my favor." Her eyes narrowed a moment in Fletcher's direction.
"I am sure you are all well aware of my feeling toward Slytherin students who are determined to behave outside of the proud manner of the Slytherin house. Any more foolish behavior and I will leave you to suffer your own losses."
After she had made her short point, she removed the reproving expression from her features and returned her attention to the students who hadn't flaunted her rules.
"As for the rest of you, I have come to give my congratulations to our victorious Slytherin team," she beamed, the expression straining her features, but genuine nonetheless. "Fifty house points is quite an accomplishment. It seems to me that a celebration might be in order."

She listened, finding herself actually admiring the woman, even though most of the students despised her. She had half a mind to tell the headmistress that she hadn't been at the party... she really didn't want Marion Blackmore thinking badly of her.
Tracey's eyes widened when Blackmore was done talking. A party? To celebrate? Amazing!
"Wow..." she muttered to Cessy, who was sitting close by. "That's so cool!"

As Tracey turned to her, however, she couldn't help but smirk as she whispered, "A little hypocritical, though, isn't it?"

"What'd I miss?" he nudged Cessy's side as he whispered with a full mouth.

"She'll probably be there, though."

She finished her statement with a wink before looking back to Tracey, a blank expression on her face.
"She's good enough," she replied. "Anyone is better that old Dumbledore."

She coughed slightly. She felt as if she was getting a cold.
"I don't doubt that she'll be there."

Tracey turned her attention to Ian then.
"What happened at the party? Sorry I couldn't come. You have to tell me all about it now."

After a small pause, the boy genuinely smiled to himself.
"Devon came, though."
