She didn't really think he was going to say yes, but she wasn't all that tired anyway. Moving to put a robe on, she was busy finding one in her closet when she heard Riley arrive.
Riley coughed, leave it to him to inhale just as the green whirl kicked up a little soot.
"Stupid bleeding fireplace" He cleared his throat.
Stepping out of the fireplace, he dusted off his jeans and scanned the room for any sign of the only female he'd let into his small group of best friends since he was three (The other girls name was Deana, and she traded him pumpkin pastries to be her mate.)
Cecilia flicked off the light in her closet, and wrapped a light white robe around her body as she came out to greet Riley.
"Hey there, love," she said, giving him a friendly peck on the cheek before moving to her vanity set. "You alright?" she asked, as she heard him coughing.
As she rummaged around in the drawers in her vanity for a pair of her scissors, she let out a bemused laugh.
"I am awfully relaxed," she said, coming back towards her best friend. He was the only boy she had ever considered to be that close to. She had a towel in her hand, along with a pair of silver scissors.
"So, do you really want me to do this?" she asked.
Sucking in a deep breath, Riley prepared himself for what could turn out to be a wonderful, great cut or the biggest mistake of his life. He tipped his head back, just enough to see Cecilia's pretty eyes.
"Yes, you would do that to me." He grinned at her, "But I trust you wont."
She ruffled his hair with a silly grin before pointing his head back down again. She set to work combing all of his hair forward to work on the hair closer to his neck.
"So, how have you been, love?" she asked, casually, hoping he wouldn't remember what a flirt she had been with him the last time they were together.

Clearing his throat once more, Riley moved to sit down on the floor- his most favorite place to lounge.
"You look awfully... relaxed."

"I believe so" He nodded slowly, flipping the hair from in front of his eyes. "Don't make me look like an arse."

"Would I ever do that to you?" she asked, leaning over to grab a comb too. "You'll look great."

"I've been lonely." He told her, smiling down at his hands in his lap.
