Today, I finally finished up my left over work from last year when I was sick. What an incredible relief.

I've been really happy lately, even with all the college stress and everything that goes along with that. I'm just very content. This past weekend I went to Boston for National Portfolio Review and got to see lots of my MeCA friends which, as always, was lovely. I met with RISD, Pratt, and MassArt. The RISD rep was really really nice. She loved my paintings and figure work and just made me feel a little bit better about my miniscule chances of actually getting in. Pratt accepted my portfolio on the spot so now I don't have to worry about that at all when I apply! And MassArt gave me some really good feedback on each of my pieces, and she said I'd be a perfect fit for art school. It was a really encouraging experience and I'm really glad I went.

Backtrack- the Dolls show last weekend was beautiful and just amazing in general. Jessie and I got to be brides up on the balcony above the stage during Perfect Fit and crazy beat-up cheerleaders running through the crowds during Girl Anachronism. Everyone was really nice and it was definitely the best first real Dolls show experience I could ask for. Go here for Jessie's pictures. She was a beautiful statue :-) Her friend Adam took some videos too and once they get screen shots I'll post them.

To close, here's a lovely picture of me and Max that Drew took at Meca. Its in the early college catalog which is kind of creepy, considering it takes up a whole page and it's of me sleeping, but atleast I have a copy now!
