(no subject)
well, this week i'm working in the Chancellor's office as a fill-in receptionist. it's a pretty cool job, but i get bored really fast. $10/hour, can't beat that.
unfortunately, i don't get paid until JULY. UGH.
on wikipedia, there's a list of the top 50 heroes and villains in film.
#1 Hero = Atticus Finch (To Kill a Mockingbird)
#1 Villain = Hannibal Lecter (Silence of the Lambs)
some interesting ones: Villains = Man (Bambi), The Shark (Jaws), The Wicked Witch of the West (The Wizard of Oz)
Heroes = Thelma and Louise, Maximus Decimus Meridius (Gladiator)
what makes them heroes? they all underwent the hero's journey? Call to Adventure - Rebirth?
what about Jesus in The Passion?
the dark knight looks badass and i can't wait to see it. i also can't wait to see prince caspian but i don't have any money. also, does anyone (megan louya) know when the sixth harry potter movie comes out?
has anyone seen ironman? I LOVED IT.
i wonder if the receptionist that usually works here gets bored like this. she's got to have other things to do, right? everyone else in this office has to wonder what i'm busying myself with.
i rasterbated a HUGE image of The Last Supper and hung it on the wall in my kitchen yesterday. it looks badass.
sooo i'm joining the peace corps when i'm done with undergrad. i mean, isn't that kind of perfect for an anthro major? then after two years in africa or something i'll go to grad school. cool.
