very well done............... the light meter will soon reveal its great potential to you. give it time and you will realize how basic its mechanics are. it will become a very natural part of your routine
Thanks Joe!! Maybe I could send you a photo of how it looks and you could explain the dials to me.. i have a manual but it's not very clearly written for someone who has never used one before. Plus its an old vintage one, not new and fancy or anything.
sure....... i'd like to see it. vintage is good. i have a beast of a meter, a gossen luna pro. all meters need only one setting input and that is the film speed of what you happen to be shooting. the rest is just readouts of the combinations of camera settings to the light level read. if i can do it, you can
I think that is what i have!!!!!!!! I get confused because I have three different settings on the dial and i'm not sure how far to turn it (the green/red/yellow numbers i think?)... i'll have to send you a picture with arrows pointing the confusing stuff. I think mine is the Luna 6
luna six is the european market, luna pro is the usa market. just different names for marketing, same meter. although there are variations to the luna six and that is the luna six 3 as well as the 3s
( ... )
it's the lunasix 3... those are the exact numbers that i had no idea what they meant. i will take it out tonight and compare to this posting. Thank you! This was very helpful. I tried using it along side my canon meter to see if I could kind of learn but it just didn't work that way for me. I get 2 rolls of medium format today where i didnt use the meter... should be interesting haha.
