So in reading twitter this evening, Jason Calacanis (twitter.com/jason) went off on this tirade about how he feels that fat people should be taxed and if they are the obesity problem would go down. Then continued to re-tweet comments that 99% were for what he suggested, and some comparing it to the smoker's tax. Granted I would say maybe taxing fast food companies who don't have true healthy things to eat where everything is just fat I'd be fine with, but actually putting a financial burden on everyone who's overweight? Really?
To be honest it's dipshits like him and his followers who have taken this kind of an attitude who have always been the ones to push me down. And I'm sure for many others it's the same. Granted it adds fuel to the fire for someone who's overweight like myself to try and prove them wrong, but at the same time I still think it's uncalled for.
And funny enough, when
blackirismetal called him out saying that everything was one sided and he was being a bit of a jerk, he just responds to him saying "don't be obnoxious."
So to you Mr. Calacanis, I say you are a jackass, and your "debate" is pretty one-sided. How about re-tweeting the other side huh? You have lost my respect and a follower.
