I feel like I haven't been on the internet in forever, except to catch up on Project Runway and read postsecret.
Classes start tomorrow. I'm so nervous. I always have nightmares right before school starts, and this year was no exception. This year it was something about capstone and being late and not getting to graduate. Um, yeah. But then last night I had a really cool dream that my whole family was helping me to plant this really cool garden, so maybe that's a good sign. I jsut looked up on a dream website, which says:
Gardening: To dream that you are gardening, symbolizes work or career issues. Consider how you feel about gardening or the condition of the garden and how it parallels a waking work issue or situation.
Hmm. Well, since everyone was helping me and it was going really well, maybe that means that working three jobs, going to school, and planning my wedding all at once is a good thing!
Yeah. I start the E-News again this week, TPWD cut me down to 10 hours a week, and Pluckers is down to two shifts a week. And I'm taking 15 hours of classes, one of which is my CAPSTONE senior thesis thing. You'd probably have nightmares too.
At least Pluckers is going better. I'm averaging about $12/hour, which is nice. In fact, as a reward for my hard work I went shopping today, and bought a really hot black leather jacket that I really wanted. It's awesome. It was expensive, but it's awesome. I figure it will last me several years and keep me warm while I walk to school all winter. And look hot.
Then I bought some shoes. This was not in my plan for the day, but they are amazing and I have been looking for them for almost a year. They are THE shoes. The dark purple heels. They are gorgeous. But I payed a lot for them. Like, I can hardly believe it and I'm going to pick up another shift this week. I keep telling myself things like "They say to dress for the job you want, not the job you have" and "Think of all the shoes you DIDN'T buy while you were looking for these!" and "It's better to invest in a few key items and then build your wardrobe around that!" (Most of these are quotes from What not to Wear by the way.) But I love them. I'm wearing them right now, while I type on my blog at one in the morning in my pajamas.
So yeah. No buying things for Angela for a while, except stuff like groceries. Which I need to do tomorrow. Sigh!!
